The Neighbor’s Table
Serving with Dignity. Feeding with Love.
The Neighbor’s Table is a free food pantry serving the Sapulpa community, founded in 2020 by First Church Sapulpa in partnership with the Eastern Oklahoma Community Food Bank. At John Knox Presbyterian Church, we are proud to stand alongside this ministry—sending teams of volunteers to serve regularly and support our neighbors with compassion and care.
The mission of The Neighbor’s Table is simple and powerful: to love the community by addressing local food insecurity in a way that upholds dignity and respect. Guests are invited to “shop” for their groceries—choosing from a wide variety of fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable items, rather than receiving a pre-filled box. This simple act of choice affirms each guest’s worth and autonomy.
The pantry also offers Bibles and a place to share prayer requests, creating space for spiritual as well as physical nourishment.
“I love working with the guests who come to The Neighbor’s Table. It’s hard work, but I enjoy serving alongside the dedicated Neighbor’s Table team. Each time, I’m given the opportunity to speak with our guests personally. It’s both rewarding and humbling to hear their stories and share in a moment of kindness and connection.”

When to Visit
The Neighbor’s Table is open on:
- 1st & 3rd Thursdays: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- 2nd & 4th Thursdays: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
