Your Questions Answered

Whether you’re planning your first visit or looking to get more involved, we’re glad you’re here! Here are answers to some common questions to help you feel at home.

Where are you located?

We’re located at 2929 E. 31st Street in Tulsa, just west of Harvard Avenue. You’ll find convenient parking on both the west and south sides of the church, with accessible entrances nearby.

What time is worship?

11:00 AM Sunday Mornings – Sanctuary Worship
Each Sunday at 11:00 AM, we gather together in the Sanctuary as one church family for a vibrant and meaningful service. Worship includes music, prayer, and scripture in a blended style that honors tradition while embracing creativity.

On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate Communion as part of our regular 11:00 AM worship service. All who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are welcome at the Table.

What should I wear?

Wear what makes you comfortable—jeans, dresses, sneakers, or Sunday best. What matters most is that you’re here.

“The Lord looks at the heart.” – 1 Samuel 16:7

Is there anything for children?

Yes! Children are always welcome in worship at John Knox. We offer Sunday School for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade, where they explore scripture in engaging and age-appropriate ways. Professional nursery care is available during both worship and Sunday School, providing a safe and nurturing space for our youngest children. We are grateful to support families as children grow in faith alongside the congregation.

What is your worship style?

Our worship blends traditional hymns, gospel joy, and contemporary praise. Music is led by our Sanctuary Choir, House Band, and Angelus Ringers. Every service centers on Scripture and community.

Do you celebrate communion?

Yes.   At John Knox Presbyterian Church, everyone is welcome at Christ’s table. Whether you are a long-time member, a first-time visitor, or still new to the Presbyterian tradition, we invite you to share in this sacred meal as a sign of your faith and trust in Him.

We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month during worship. The bread and the cup remind us of Christ’s love, unite us as His body, and strengthen us to live out His mission in the world.

“There is one bread, and we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.” — 1 Corinthians 10:17
