What’s Inside?
Each Small Acts Pack is thoughtfully assembled to provide practical support, comfort, and encouragement. While the contents may vary throughout the year, every pack includes a selection of essential items chosen to help meet immediate needs and offer a small measure of care during a difficult day.
From water and nutritious snacks to personal hygiene items and seasonal necessities, each pack is designed with both dignity and compassion in mind. The items are carefully selected and packed by volunteers who believe that even a simple gift can communicate hope and remind someone that they are not forgotten.
Because needs change with the seasons, the contents of our packs may change as well. What remains constant is the spirit behind them: a desire to share Christ’s love through practical acts of kindness.
Why Small Acts Packs?
Jesus calls us to love our neighbors, care for those who are struggling, and respond to human need with compassion. Small Acts Packs provide a simple way for members and friends of John Knox to put that calling into action.
While a single pack cannot solve every challenge, it can offer immediate help, a moment of encouragement, and a reminder that someone cares. These small acts of kindness create opportunities for connection and allow us to share God’s love in practical and meaningful ways.

How Can I Help?
Purchase a Pack
Small Acts Packs are available for purchase at the Mission Table on Sunday mornings. By purchasing a pack, you help support this ministry and ensure that more packs are available to share throughout our community.
Share a Pack
Keep a pack with you and be ready to offer it when the opportunity arises. A simple act of kindness can brighten someone’s day and remind them that they are not forgotten.
Donate Supplies
Donations of items for future packs are always welcome. Contact the church office or visit the Mission Table to learn about current needs.
Volunteer
Help assemble packs and prepare them for distribution. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, and assembling packs is a wonderful way to serve alongside fellow members of the John Knox family.
