Extending the Table of Grace

At John Knox Presbyterian Church, we believe that the sacred experience of Communion should be accessible to all. Through our Home Communion ministry, the Deacons lovingly extend Christ’s table beyond the church walls—bringing the Sacraments to those who are unable to attend worship due to illness, age, recovery, or other circumstances.

This ministry ensures that even when members cannot be with us in person, they remain fully connected to the body of Christ and the heart of our church family.

Through this simple but powerful act, we affirm that God’s grace knows no boundaries—and that no one is ever forgotten or left out of Christ’s invitation to the table.

Welcome. Embrace Diversity. Do Christ’s Mission.

“The Deacons bring me home communion, and with it, a wonderful time of fellowship. They also bring me The Upper Room devotional, which helps me stay spiritually connected. It’s a beautiful way the JK community comes to me.”

Embracing Every Heart in Grace

At JKPC Tulsa, we envision a community where every heart finds belonging and every spirit is uplifted, regardless of life’s challenges. Our Home Communion ministry is more than a ritual; it is a heartfelt commitment to inclusivity, celebrating the profound connection we share in Christ’s love. As we bring the sacred elements of Communion into homes, we not only nourish the body and soul but also weave together the diverse tapestry of our church family, ensuring that each individual feels seen, valued, and embraced. Join us in this mission to extend grace and compassion, as together we create a space where everyone can partake in the richness of our faith journey.
