The Session at John Knox Presbyterian Church
Faithfully Serving with Wisdom, Care, and Vision
At John Knox Presbyterian Church, our Session is the governing body entrusted with spiritual leadership, oversight, and decision-making for our congregation. Guided by prayer and rooted in Scripture, these elected elders serve as spiritual shepherds—helping to shape our mission, support our ministries, and care for our church family.
Each elder brings unique gifts and passions to their role, leading various ministry areas in alignment with our church vision: Welcome. Embrace Diversity. Do Christ’s Mission.
We are deeply grateful for the faithful leadership of our current Session members, who serve Christ and this congregation with wisdom and dedication.

The Board of Deacons
Faithfully Serving with Wisdom, Care, and Vision
At John Knox Presbyterian Church, the Board of Deacons serves as a vital expression of Christ’s love in action. This compassionate group of individuals is called to extend care, encouragement, and connection to our church family and beyond. Whether offering a listening ear, delivering meals, coordinating home communion, or simply reaching out with kindness, our Deacons help ensure that no one walks alone.
Rooted in the teachings of Jesus and guided by the Spirit, the Deacons provide pastoral care in practical and personal ways—visiting those who are homebound, offering support during times of grief, and celebrating moments of joy alongside fellow members. Their ministry reminds us that love is not only spoken, but lived.
We are grateful for our current Deacons, who faithfully serve with grace and dedication:
Gwen Blank, Gail Bullock, Karen Brown, Jennifer Deal, Rhonda Gallagher, Jes McCutchen, Marti Peschka and Pam Swan (Moderator)

Whether coordinating with contractors, responding to facility needs, or planning improvements to better serve our congregation and community, the Trustees work faithfully behind the scenes. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence help create a sacred space where worship, fellowship, and service can flourish.
We are deeply grateful for their hands-on ministry, which enables us to gather, grow, and serve with confidence.
